Your impact
At Jacobs, our Program Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) team works seamlessly with clients by delivering projects and programs to achieve our clients’ goals. What we do is more than construction; we play a part in moving a vision from concept to reality. If you’re interested in a rewarding career working on ENR's #1 Construction Management-for-Fee firm, then Jacobs is where you belong.
The USVI ODR, a division of the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority, has entrusted us with the critical task of managing and supporting federally funded recovery projects across the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our work will involve overseeing the reconstruction of key educational institutions, all of which were severely impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017.
We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager to relocate to either St. Thomas or St. Croix to support the delivery of a multi-billion dollar disaster recovery program. Based at the client site in the US Virgin Islands, you’ll be responsible for managing the project team and the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives. You will manage and provide oversight and facilitate resolution to complex project related challenges.
As a member of our team, you’ll lead building and infrastructure projects consisting of multi-discipline teams of employees in design, including Architectural, MEP, Structural, and Civil. As the Project Manager, you’ll play an integral role in mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques.
